Terms of service
Plain terms for a Mac app that runs on your own machine. Using Glowstone means accepting them.
What you get
A licence to install and use Glowstone on Macs you control, for your own work or your company's. The app is provided as it is today; features may change, and the current build is an early one.
What you are responsible for
- The AI agent you configure, your account with its provider, and anything it costs.
- What you record, and telling the people in the room that you are recording.
- The content of your workspace, and having a backup of it. Glowstone keeps no copy.
- Checking what an agent writes before you rely on it.
What we do not promise
Transcription is done by a machine learning model and gets things wrong, especially names, numbers and unfamiliar words. An agent can misread a note or write something inaccurate. Glowstone is a tool for work you review, not a source of truth you can act on unchecked.
The software is provided without warranty of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost data, lost profit, or decisions taken on the basis of what an agent produced.
What you may not do
Use Glowstone to record people who have not been told, to break the law where you are, or to breach the terms of the AI provider you have configured.
Ending it
Delete the app whenever you like. Your files stay yours and stay where they are: uninstalling removes the application, not your workspace.
