Security and data flow
Glowstone keeps workspace knowledge as ordinary Markdown files on the user's Mac. Access by an AI agent is controlled through the tools and providers the user chooses to configure.
Local workspace
Glowstone is designed around files stored in folders the user controls. Those files can be inspected, backed up, moved, or opened with other Markdown-compatible tools.
Agent access
When a user asks a configured agent to work with workspace context, that agent or its model provider may process the selected content. Provider retention, training, and regional processing rules are governed by that provider's settings and policies.
Safe support
Do not email private workspace files, credentials, API keys, or confidential client information. When reporting an issue, prefer a redacted reproduction and include the Glowstone and macOS versions.
Report a vulnerability
Send security reports privately to hello@glowstone.ai. Include reproducible steps and avoid accessing data that is not yours.
